    • A proctor is a disinterested third party to oversee your exam. A disinterested third party is a person who has no financial interest in the success or failure of a licensee maintaining an insurance license. The disinterested third party must also certify the exam was closed-book and no other assistance was used to obtain a passing score on the exam.
    • The proctor must be at least 18 years of age.
    • The proctor must be present from the moment you begin until you complete your attempt.

    • The time will begin and you will lose your exam attempt if your proctor is not present.
    • Once you begin your final exam you will not have access to the exam material.
  • The proctor is responsible for the following:
    • Verify the student’s identity by reviewing a photo ID, such as a driver’s license.
    • Ensure the student does not receive any external help during the exam. No course materials, outside assistance, personal notes, or access to other websites are permitted.
